Meet Walter Valdez
Owner & Lead Technician
Walter Valdez founded Handyman Walter in 2024, bringing a background in construction from Argentina and an eye for detail that shows in every project. He’s especially known for his work with drywall, painting, and flooring, and he’s built a reputation among Brandon homeowners for kitchen backsplashes that look like they belong in a magazine.
Walter moved from Argentina to Florida after falling in love and starting a family here, and that same care shows up in how he treats every home he works in. He’s a licensed business professional carrying general liability insurance, and he’s fluent in both English and Spanish.
Outside of work, Walter is a classically trained musician who plays both guitar and piano. When he’s not on a job site, you’ll likely find him out running or riding his bike around Brandon.
Meet Hope Turner

Hope Turner has spent more than a decade building content and search strategies that actually work — the kind that get a business found on Google and, increasingly, cited by AI. Her experience spans SEO, AEO, local search, and content strategy, with work across agency, non-profit, and for-profit organizations.
She’s also a published author and longtime content strategist, having ghostwritten for outlets like Forbes and Entrepreneur. What she brings to Handyman Walter is simple: honest, clear information for homeowners, backed by real data, and grounded in her husband Walter’s hands-on expertise.
Hope holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from the University of Central Arkansas, and a Marketing Strategy Certificate from Cornell University, along with several digital marketing certifications.
